The Blaustein Philanthropic Group is a constellation of multi-generational family foundations inspired by the charitable legacy of Louis and Henrietta Blaustein, and united by roots in Jewish tradition, concern for social justice and equality of opportunity. The foundations in the Blaustein Philanthropic Group distribute over $19 million in grants annually to organizations focused on some of the most pressing social, environmental, health and educational challenges of our time.  Over half of those dollars support organizations working in metropolitan Baltimore and state-wide in Maryland; a third support national efforts and local groups working in other U.S. cities; the balance is invested internationally, primarily in Israel.

We invite you to explore the four foundations represented on this site, learn about their individual funding priorities, areas of geographic focus, current grantees and application process.
